London

With London so close, just 25 minutes away by train, then just where do you start planning your staycation highlights? With so much to choose from it comes down to what floats your boat - so maybe a thames river cruise is a good start.

The famous museums, important historical sites, world class entertainment in the West End theatres, fine dinings from celebrity chefs or perhaps something more eclectic in Covent Garden, Brick Lane, Chinatown or Notting Hill.

Your biggest problem might be fitting it all into 1 day - in which case don't worry just extend your stay and do at least another day!
